Teri Urban

Safety Coordinator, Parkwest Projects Ltd.

Teri Urban is a second-generation member of her family’s general contracting firm. She has been working in the construction industry in various roles for the past 18 years, including project coordinator, assistant project manager, administration and presently safety coordinator. She graduated from Business Administration in 2009, is a Gold Seal Certified Safety Coordinator, Canadian Registered Safety Professional Intern and holds a Canadian Risk Management designation.

Teri was on the founding board of Winnipeg Construction Association’s Manitoba Women in Construction, where she now holds the immediate past chair position. She is also on the Construction Association of Manitoba’s General Contractor’s Advisory Committee, is a member of the Young Construction Leaders of Manitoba and on Buildforce Canada’s “The Changing Face of Construction” Advisory Committee.
