President, Parkwest Projects Ltd
Randy Clegg is the president of Parkwest Projects and one of the founding members. He, and his brother, started the family owned general contracting firm in 1998 and is currently celebrating the company’s 20th anniversary. He started out in the construction industry over 40 years ago as a labourer. Randy then joined the carpentry apprenticeship program where he earned his Red Seal Journeyman certificate. He also holds two Gold Seal Certificates; Superintendent and Project Management.
Randy is a well-respected member of the Manitoba construction industry and has served on the board of the Winnipeg Construction Association from 2000 to 2014, serving as chair from 2010 to 2012. He was the chair of the general contractor’s divisional committee for two terms, which he has been involved in since 1998. Randy also served on the Canadian Construction Association board for four years. An accomplishment that Randy is proud of is being on the advisory committee of The Construction Industry Wages Act in the ICI sector of Manitoba.
