Participants will be dropped off by the shuttles at the bottom of the hill. Skiers who arranged rentals through Sunshine can retrieve their rental equipment from Rentals. The lodge, manned by a CCA representative, will be available for CCA delegates all day. Come and go as you please! There are change rooms and bathrooms at the lodge. Remember your wristband (provided with your delegate badge at registration) – you will need to show it for lunch.

Ski / Snowboard

$95 plus taxes

Sunshine offers 115 named runs plus offshoots with a 3,300-acre skiable area. The longest run is 8 km! Twenty per cent of the terrain is for beginners, fifty-five per cent for intermediate and twenty-five percent for expert skiers. The hill averages 10 meters of snow per year making it an exceptional ski hill with breathtaking views.

  • Includes transportation to and from the hill, lift ticket as well as a group lunch. Rentals are not included. Helmets are not mandatory; skiers who wish to use helmets must bring their own.

Equipment Rental

  • Chateau Mountain Sports (located at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel): Receive a 10% discount, payable onsite. Equipment must be picked up March 11, as the store only opens at 08:00 March 12. You will be responsible for putting your rentals on the bus for the trip to the hill and back.
  • Sunshine Village Ski & Snowboard Rentals (located at the Sunshine Ski Resort): Rentals available onsite only.


Group lessons are available for groups larger than 15 people. If you are interested in lessons, please indicate it in your conference registration. If the minimum number is met, CCA will make the arrangements and confirm with those interested.

Trek through untouched powder, deep into wintery wilderness. The snowshoe package includes a 3-hour guided tour in the high alpine setting of the Standish Mountain. One of their trained professional instructors will lead the way up the Standish Express Chairlift to the top of the mountain followed by an easy hike out to their lookout deck.

  • Includes transportation to and from the hill, gondola and lift ticket, professional guided tour, group lunch, hot chocolate and snacks. Rentals (snowshoes and trekking poles) are included.
